Sculpsure - Laser Body Contouring

The SculpSure® device is a non-invasive laser body contouring system intended to permanently eliminate fat cells through non-invasive lipolysis of the abdomen, love handles (flanks), back, inner thighs and outer thighs. Each 25 minute treatment can destroy up to 24% of treated fat cells without surgery.

How does it work?

• Target - Targeted laser energy heats fat cells under the skin without affecting the skin’s surface.
• Reducing Fat Cells - The SculpSure laser raises the temperature of fat cells damaging their structural integrity.
• Eliminations - Over the next three months, the damaged fat cells are processed and eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system.
• Results - Fat cells are permanently removed and will not regenerate. Results can be seen as quickly as six weeks, and optimal results typically seen at 12 weeks.

What to expect during your SculpSure treatment:

When the treatment starts, initially you will feel a cooling sensation. This helps keep the skin comfortable during treatment. The cooling will be on the entire treatment, while the laser cycles on and off, raising the temperature of the fat cells. Most patients feel a deep warmth and/or tingling and/or cramping sensation intermittently throughout the treatment which is generally well-tolerated.

When Will I see Results?

Patients may start to see results as early as 6 weeks following treatment as the body begins to eliminate the destroyed fat cells, with optimal results usually seen at 12 weeks.

How long will results last?

Treated fat cells are eliminated during a treatment and will not regenerate. SculpSure treatments are an excellent complement to a healthy lifestyle. Optimal benefits are best achieved in combination with diet and exercise.

How long before I can resume normal activities?

With a SculpSure treatment, there is no downtime which allows you to resume your daily activities right away.

What is the difference between fat loss and weight loss?

The number of fat cells stored in our bodies typically remains constant throughout adult life. As we lose weight, the size of fat cells become smaller, but do not decrease in number. Even with diet and exercise, many people have difficulty losing weight in troubled areas. After the SculpSure treatment, the fat cells are permanently destroyed.
